Camden Road in Camera

This exhibition is part of the Claque Theatre project to involve local people in the history and important place that Camden Road holds in Tunbridge Wells.

Photographs have been collected from local people and displayed along the road in the site that they were originally taken. These are in shop windows, on walls and banners and others on memory boards.

Children from St Barnabas's School have also taken photographs and interviewed current traders in Camden Road.

Guided tours of the exhibition will take place on Saturday 12th and 19 July at 3pm, leaving from Market Square, off Camden Road.

The exhibition forms part of the research for a community play about the area. For more information about the exhibition or the play, or if you would like to become a volunteer, please contact: musical@camdenroad.co.uk
